The tenents of our faith

Heaven Designed Life is a congregation in Schiedam founded in 2016, focused on helping people develop a deep and meaningful relationship with God. We firmly believe in the triune God, with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit at the center of our beliefs. Our faith is founded on the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, with his ascension into Heaven and his return in the Second Coming as our ultimate hope. We acknowledge the Scripture as the infallible word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and written by men. We also believe that baptism by immersion is mandated by the Scriptures for all who repent and believe in Christ. Our church also values the gifts of the Holy Spirit, which shape our lives in profound ways. All believers should seek to be baptised not only by immersion in water, but also in the Holy Spirit and fire. It is through the Spirit that we are sanctified.

We are all adopted into the family of God through the redemptive work of Jesus on the cross, because of this we are called to be his disciples and to make disciples. We believe that the church is the body of Christ, called to be the salt of the earth, fulfilling the great comission.

MISSION/VISION

Our vision is to be a community and family movement of believers and disciples of Jesus Christ, nurturing faith, hope, and love in Jesus and his word. We aim to reach the lost and those seeking God's purpose and plan for their lives, providing a space for growth in their relationship with God.

Our mission is to produce skilful Kingdom leaders and Christ ambassadors that are capable of influencing their environment and the world with Kingdom biblical principles.

Our mission is to reach the lost and unchurched, and we want to assist them in rediscovering who they are in Christ—sons of God.
